Hi, has anyone done this with these laptops? Where can i find the eeprom chips which contain the passwords? I have a power on password, and can't get into BIOS. Is it the supervisor password? The icon is a little PC and a Lock. Do i need to read the eeprom? Or there is a software solution? Thanks |

To get rid of the POP, remove the CMOS backup cell. To get rid of the SVP, you must read the 24RF08, indeed.

R24RF08 is the software reader, see the tutorial |
