i had password problem in t20 and i used your simple circuit to retrieve the password . it was 14 pin amtl ic . first time i got error as eprom not found. i dissconnected the line and booted the laptop it was giving many beeps and an error 188 crc2 bad please gve me a solution for it |

Hello,
If due to some improper setup the laptop shows CRC2 then the only choice is W24RF08, we repair the CRC for free. In any case, you must be able to read the eeprom, try so read it. |

but it is giving the error epprom not found.iam atechician i have read epprom in many ibm models. but t20,21,23 with 14 pin ic is givng this problem |

14 pin or 8 pin, no difference. is the same eeprom.
Check the interface or circuit connections or serial port. _________________ Victor Voinea
