download a bios upgrade from dell.you can extract the file from the .exe with something like
<DELLBIOS> -writeromfile / -writehexfile / -writehdrfile
you get the file you need to reprogram the bios,no password of course. |

Hello medmine,
you can download the BIOS file yourself from Dell website, the address is:
ftp://ftp.dell.com/bios/D620_A10.EXE
then open a COMMAND PROMPT window and go the folder where you saved the file to, run the next command to extract the .rom file as perieanuo says:
D620_A10.EXE -writeromfile
you'll end up with a file named D620_A10.rom .
If you have trouble extracting the rom file from the BIOS update, you can download it directly from (it's ZIP compressed):

I've read that on Latitude D620 model, the password is stored in EC/KBC (Embedded Controller/KeyBoard Controller), let us know if by flashing the firmware chip 25P80 works for this particular model to remove pw.

with this soft i can't flash bios with password, because my laptop need firt the pass for start
the solution is program 25P80 drictly with programmer but i haven't file |

The idea was to obtain the BIOS dump, got that?
Here is the A10 revision for D620 BIOS. Save the original dump prior flashing this one.
If you don't have a program to do that in-system, I recommend you SPEG which is Victor's release. |

not worked, after programming 25p80 with bios A10 its same my laptop ask me password than i need dump of eeporom IC 45pe20 |

yesss very nice info man
now i hope this keyboard rom can delete the pass... if there is flash AND eeprom area this solution can't work 
know anybody working external programmer for this keyboard controller? I'm trying to contact with my programmer supporter (elnec bee) but the no succes |

as i know we are these options:
- contact your local dell servicepoint
(haha)

- read the password in the ec/keyboard controller
as i know no available tool or solutions
- pach the bios image
some info:
the dell bios supporter is phoenix, all bios image is compressed (like zip) when the systerm start unpacked and executed in the pc RAM
normally two compressed format available. The simplest is the normal phoenix (LZINT) this image used the new dell netbook's (ex.: inspiron mini10) it's very easy to disable the security module, the harder is the "dell" compresson. (Ofcourse the d620, 820 use this compresson)
this compresson format succesfully reversed via Anton Borisov and he make a nice tool DellDeco but he was forced to remove it and as i know all site removed, torrent too (pressured by Dell) but i think the dell bios bootloader know this compression methode  and this part of the bios not compressed
- delete the original dell bios and replace linux based open bios (ex: coreboot)
ofcourse if yor notebook supported..etc |

this dump is for network controller it is not related with password. i need this dump could you upload it again
the admin password for dell d620 can only be created with service tag generator. there is not any solutions exists for now |
